CR Calendar:

Enables the user to quickly view and distinguish between school days that may require more attention. With one quick glance a parent can distinguish between test days, days when special projects are due, and days when homework is due.

CR_Queue and CR_Communication Center:

Both features work together to enable the user to view details, download documents and link to information that is associated with the school work.

Private Messaging:

Allows for communication between educators and families without the need for separate email accounts.

CR_Forums:

Enables teachers to extend discussions beyond the classroom. Students can now discuss topics via an electronic format to be viewed, printed or archived by the teacher.

Teacher’s Journal:

Teachers can keep daily notes on pertinent activities that occur in the classroom.

CR_Pages:

Enables teachers to showcase class work, school activities or other information to be viewed as an electronic publication.

CR_Alerts:

Allows parents to receive alerts on class work or important school events (such as school closings) via private messaging, email or text messaging.

The features of CourseRoads.com will be available by phone via an IVR (Integrated Voice Response) system. Parents and students will be able to access scheduled homework, tests and special projects easily and without the need for a computer. Additionally, this feature will use the information already in CourseRoads, so teachers will not need to take extra steps to input information into the IVR.
